Sound insulation can avoid Christmas rows

09/12/2009 14:52:28

Acoustic floor, ceiling and wall coating could be the best solution to unwanted noise from Christmas and New Year parties.

Effective sound insulation could help avoid unseasonal arguments between neighbours over the festive period.

Many people will be planning parties over the coming weeks as they celebrate Christmas and New Year.

Noise from parties can be very disruptive, especially with modern sound systems, karaoke video games and the popularity of hard floor surfaces.

By investing in acoustic windows, sound absorbing furniture and other sound insulation solutions homeowners can avoid upsetting their neighbours when hosting their own parties. They can also block out the noise when other people are celebrating on work nights.

People living in flats are often most affected by noise from their neighbours' properties, particularly from those living above them.

In such cases, acoustic floor, ceiling and wall coatings can offer a relatively easy means of limiting local noise pollution in both directions.
