Knauf insulates nurseries

22/10/2009 16:37:18

Three nurseries benefit from insulation.

Knauf Insulation has announced its plans to improve the energy efficiency of nurseries across the country.

Three nurseries that demonstrated an ambition to become more energy efficient have been awarded with external wall insulation as part of their prize.

Insulation will help to boost the thermal efficiency of the building and different colour options for the rendering will improve the look of the building for those that use it.

Lydia Sharples, head of communications at Knauf Insulation, said: "For the second year running, Knauf Insulation, in conjunction with Project: Renovate, has helped to educate over 18,000 pre-schools and nurseries on the importance of the environment."

She added that this year's winners have all shown their dedication for improving the energy efficiency of their surroundings and that she hopes it will help to further promote green issues at nurseries and in the community.

Knauf Insulation states that it has a strong commitment to sustainability.
