Lathams adds a touch of class to Northern restaurant and bar (stand no. 476)
The UK’s leading timber and panel products distributor, James Latham, will be exhibiting at Northern Restaurant and Bar in March this year to showcase two of its most popular products: LG HI-MACS® and Bausen hardwood flooring.
The exhibition at GMEX in Manchester brings together bar and restaurant owners, directors, managers, chefs and other key industry figures to demonstrate to them the latest design trends in the hospitality industry.
The stand (no.476) will demonstrate how Bausen and LG HI-MACS® can be used in a range of settings. Lathams is proactively targeting the commercial markets with LG HI-MACS. The Solid Colours range is available in fresh and energetic shades such as Fiery Red, Orange and Banana, helping to add a contemporary twist to interiors. More unique and luxurious colours can be found in the LG HI-MACS® Volcanics range, where large translucent chips in the surfaces help to intensify the clarity of the product. There are six new Volcanics colours which will be at the stand at W6.
LG HI-MACS is supplied in thicknesses of 12mm, 9mm and 6mm, and is offered in over 74 shades and patterns. The range also includes 10 designs of sinks and vanity basins, which are available in over 60 colours. Each non-porous LG HI-MACS® product also comes with a specialist hygiene certificate, making it perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.
James Latham’s Bausen range of hardwood flooring products is fast becoming the market leading brand within this quality sector. The flooring is offered in a range of finishes: lacquered, brushed and oiled and an increasingly popular super matt lacquer.
Species available include white oak, cherry, maple, birch and walnut, plus a ‘distressed’ range of hand scraped golden, dark and bronze oak, to suit all sorts of construction or interior design projects for the domestic and commercial markets.
Engineered One Strip Plank is available in a variety of species, while the Manor Oak range of solid flooring is FSC. Whenever possible, high quality third party certified products are added to the range to meet the demands of its customers.
Part of the Bausen range has recently obtained the Q Mark assurance of quality, which is a third party certification scheme operated by BM TRADA Certification Ltd.
Steve Robinson, Lathams product manager for LG, commented: “After some very successful exhibitions last year, we are looking forward to educating key figures in the hospitality industry about LG HI-MACS® and Bausen flooring and what can be done with these versatile materials.”
