Residents move into McCloud complex

Kevin McCloud's new housing development has its first residents.
The TV presenter's development company Hab created the 42-home Triangle in Swindon in conjunction with housing group GreenSquare.
The Triangle is a high-quality, eco-friendly and sustainable complex which aims to keep the community and its residents as its focus, and they were introduced to each other at friendly gatherings to ensure their relationships were key to life on the development right from the off.
Tracey Hackett, 49, her partner Russ Wheeler, 48, and her son Sam Hackett, 19, were the first to move in, and they compared the development to being on holiday. "It's lovely. We feel like we're in Spain. I like the size of it and it is so bright," she said.
All residents are being given lessons in organic gardening for the community garden, are only allowed to have one car and can communicate with each other using an intranet system.
