Saniflo overcomes drainage obstacles with pumped solution

Saniflo has successfully installed new water facilities at Middlesbrough Football Club, despite a tricky brief that required a pumped solution for the male WCs.
Contractor Vickers constructed two purpose-built units containing male and female toilet and washroom facilities, but soon realised that the distance from the existing drainage point would cause problems with waste flow in the male units.
After consulting their local Saniflo area sales manager, Vickers decided to install a high-performance macerator pump that is capable of discharging water from multiple WC facilities and other waste-producing sites.
The company settled on the Sanicubic unit, which pumps waste away through small-bore 50mm pipework up to 11m vertically or 100m horizontally.
"Sanicubic proved well within its capabilities to overcome the situation at Middlesbrough and provided a satisfactory solution to the problem," Saniflo commented.
Saniflo last month reached an important milestone in the company's history when the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service took delivery of the company's millionth unit produced.
