Flowcrete launches flooring campaign

12/05/2011 08:24:48

Industrial flooring firm Flowcrete has launched a campaign to help people get the best from their floors.

Get More From Floors will tackle six subjects over the course of the this year using data video and case studies.

The campaign aims to help firms identify what they want to achieve with their flooring system before going ahead and making a purchase.

First the campaign will focus on durability in a bid to show that it is the cornerstone of a fit-for-purpose flooring system.

Alan Dean, sales director of Flowcrete UK, said: "Industrial floors are the part of a manufacturing facility subjected to the most stress and traffic, and if they don't measure up to the demands placed on them, the implications for reinstatement are costly and disruptive.

"A correctly specified floor, which can withstand all the rigours of manufacturing environments, needs to offer a range of features, which can include oil, chemical and impact resistance, the ability to cope with wheeled and forklift truck traffic - and heavy manufacturing activity."

The firm's floor-coating systems have been put through their paces in testing, and use the strongest materials available.
