Good showers and bathroom materials 'are worth it'

It is worth investing in good-quality showers and bathroom materials to get the most out of the room, according to Ronnie Whelan, editor of The Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine.
Referring to the second of the three room types mentioned in the publication's title, she explains that there are a wide variety of showers and bathroom materials to choose from at present.
However, when selecting a shower, a fitting which provides high pressure in the jets that it produces is essential for maximum satisfaction.
She notes also the burgeoning popularity of walk-in showers, which have broad appeal, as well as wet rooms which do away with shower trays completely.
Alternatively, a bath could be a traditional and stylish alternative for people with less hectic lifestyles and time to soak in the tub.
Ms Whelan recommends a free-standing design to add a truly stylish touch to the room, while still serving the desired function.
