Britons are becoming increasingly aware of carbon emissions and rising utility bills as new research shows people are opting to purchase more environmentally friendly bathroom accessories.
According to BetterBathrooms.com, trends show that Britons are turning to technology and environmentally-friendly DIY solutions in their bathrooms.
Chief news editor at BetterBathrooms.com, Pete Robertshaw, said with utility prices increasing due to the soaring cost of fuel, it is unsurprising that consumers are turning to more energy efficient accessories.
He added: "Regardless of the cost of energy, it appears that consumers have become more aware of the impact that their actions have on the planet, which can only be a good thing."
Interior designer Natalie Perry also confirmed that trends in bathroom accessories show consumers are becoming more aware of their impact on the environment.
The latest research is interesting for analysts as it shows that consumers are making decisions based on both political and economic factors.
