Saniflo ensures hygiene at drop-in centre

The Sanicubic pump from Saniflo has been installed at St Heliers House, a drop-in centre located in the centre of Southampton for those battling with drug and addiction.
The new unit is being used for a WC and three handwash basins, with the heavy duty model being chosen in order to accommodate further expansion in the future.
"Sanicubic is a high performing macerator pump that discharges waste and water from multiple WCs and other waste water producing appliances," the company commented.
It is capable of pumping water away through small-bore pipes up to 100 metres horizontally or 11 metres vertically, or a lesser combination of both.
It can also handle waste water up to a temperature of 70C for short periods, while its dual motors ensure improved reliability and power.
A Saniflo pump has also recently been installed at a local retailer in Odiham, with installer Dave Godey describing it as the obvious choice for the job.
