KNX UK has announced the addition of five new members to the KNX UK Association and has launched a new recruitment drive to attract many more.

The company has welcomed D&M Contractors, AGE Electrical Services, AMET Limited, Clermont Electrical and Durable Technologies to the association, providing them with access to a range of member benefits including high-profile publicity programmes, training courses and website listings.

KNX has enjoyed a rapid growth in membership over the last two years as its pre-eminence in the field of building controls has increased, with major manufacturers such as ABB, Electrak, Jung, Merten, Siemens, Siteco, Somfy and Wieland among those to join its ranks.

"To support the current membership drive, aimed at all companies involved with KNX intelligent buildings technology, KNX UK has published new membership information packs," the company added.

KNX UK also last month announced that its participation at the CEDIA Expo 2009 was a notable success, despite a drop in the number of visitors to the event year-over-year.
