The basis of Mitsubishi Electric’s heat-recovery system, BC Controllers allow indoor units to share heating or cooling energy to minimise energy consumption and allow simultaneous heating and cooling.

The offering from Mitsubishi Electric also includes a unique ‘Replace’ system which can allow for the straightforward replacement of R22 systems, utilising existing pipework and wiring, which cuts installation time down to days instead of weeks.

A unique Close Control System is specifically designed for computer rooms, laboratories etc., where a need for high sensible cooling and close control of temperature and humidity is required.

The PHV DX range of air curtains offers a 67% reduction in both CO2 emissions and running costs over conventional direct electric models, and has been developed to offer a highly efficient way of providing a comfortable climate for customers and staff without compromising on performance.

All of the company’s products are backed up by one of the strongest range of advanced controls on the market to offer on-site or remote controls packages that enable building owners to monitor and control exact energy use.

The controls options include simple and straightforward M2M systems, which use the GPRS mobile phone network to enable remote control of both air conditioning and third party equipment, such as lighting, boilers, air handling units and alarms.

More advanced control options include the AG-150A and TG2000 systems which link to PCs to remotely control and monitor up to 2,000 indoor units. These have the ability to send text messages warnings to operators of changes in energy consumption or system faults.

The unique Melcotel Interface has been designed specifically for the mass-market hotel sector to control up to 250 hotel rooms, both with and without integration to a key card system. It is designed to provide a higher level of control and therefore more energy saving and a reduction in running costs.

Mitsubishi Electric offers the widest range of BEMS interfaces in the industry including BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks and EIB/KNX. The Trend IQ3 Excite can also be directly connected to the popular G50/GB50/AG150 centralised controller. Dedicated interfaces are also available for splits system.
