Valor unveils Slimline heating materials

New heating materials from Valor aim to cater for the demand for high-efficiency fires.
Three designs of Slimline models have been introduced under the company's Homeflame brand of heating materials.
Each matches an existing popular range from the firm, with the Petrus, Blenheim and Dream designs replicated in Slimline form.
Richard Beaman, head of sales for Valor Fires, says: 'The new Slimline models will overcome many of the obstacles to installing a highly efficient fire in homes with pre-cast flues.'
With a 79 mm depth, the fires should fit 99 per cent of existing flues and chimney openings, the manufacturer says.
Meanwhile, the range boasts efficiency of 89 per cent after being designed to maximise fuel use in all areas without hampering its aesthetic appeal.
Valor says that more effectively designed fires can improve home energy efficiency by 60 per cent, cutting the cost of heating a property by more than £80 each year.
